Founded in 2016 by Lori Anderson Wier, Anderson Wier Studio is a residential design practice grounded in an intentional, considerate, and personal approach to design. Whether contemplating a new build or the renovation of an existing home, Lori’s philosophy eschews a one-size-fits-all mindset to compose spaces that balance form with function and honor individual identity, history, and aspiration. Artful, layered, authentic—but never precious—Anderson Wier Studio crafts fresh, livable environments that stand the test of time.
Lori’s distinctive perspective is informed by her childhood in Northern California, her Midwestern heritage, and her many decades of living on the East Coast. Anderson Wier Studio is based in Washington, DC, with projects here, there, and everywhere.
