Details & Dimensions
The design of this rare sofa is attributed to Gajanan Upadhyay, referred to as the father of Indian furniture design. Exquisitely crafted in solid teak with rattan backs and velvet seat pads, it was produced for the Ford Foundation in New Delhi in 1964. A striking and welcoming seating option, it is thought to be one of the very few—if not only—one of its kind.
