Putting the beauty into overhead lighting, this sculptural design was developed by Hans Bergström for Ateljé Lyktan, the company he founded in his native Sweden in the 1930s. The 51/365 style from the 1940s is an exemplary display of how Bergström created fabric lampshades as an alternative to metal, which was in short supply due to the war. It was rewired to the highest standards in Los Angeles.
