Not to be mistaken for wood, the Henten Lamp’s ceramic base is handcrafted using slab-construction techniques and a dipped glaze in the color ‘hide’. Its unusual shape is patterned by rolling the surface with textured rolling pins and rods, and finished with a dipped glaze in chalk and antique brass fittings. Produced in Dumais Made’s Connecticut studio.
