Jake Arnold

Jake Arnold recommends:

‘We put tons of time into the selection of fabrics, the labor of the upholstery, the restructuring of the insides…The difference is in all those details that you don’t see to get it up to the best standard it can be, to make it feel like it’s been taken care of, and to give it a fresh perspective.’

Details & Dimensions

Lounging never looked so effortless as in Ilmari Lappalainen’s distinctive ‘Pulkka’ chair. This style was conceived in the 1960s for the Finnish retailer Asko, with an angular beech plywood frame. This set has been reupholstered with Pierre Frey’s textured ‘Yeti’—a tactile blend of wool, mohair, and alpaca—in the color Hérisson (French for hedgehog). Use this chair as a standalone statement or double the impact with a pair.
