Canoa Lab is a contemporary ceramics studio based in Valencia, Spain. Founders Raquel Vidal & Pedro Paz take inspiration from archaeology and ancient Mediterranean vessels to create textural pieces by hand in their studio. Skypho is a footed bowl reminiscent of the utilitarian ceramics commonplace in Greek and Roman banquets. Each one is handbuilt using stoneware with grog from nearby Manises and brushed with experimental glazes, resulting in slight variations with each piece. Please note that this item is not watertight.
