Matthew Chambers (b.1982) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work demonstrates humor, existential inquiry, and formal ingenuity. Finding equal inspiration in art history and pastoral Montana, where he lives, Chambers approaches the quotidian with a sincere sense of reverie and wit. Chambers is known for his figurative work and colorful ‘strip’ paintings, but (TBT) is a rarer, muted mixed media work with a somber atmosphere.
