New York-based artist TJ Bohm (b.1996) creates intuitive paintings and drawings by attempting to bring elements of order to an otherwise chaotic environment. Owing to his father’s job as a contractor, Bohm spent time around architectural spaces with faulty or weak foundations, and this has heavily influenced his exploration of unstable structures through layers of order and disorder from unprecedented environments like weather and human nature. He hopes that this dynamic will allow infinite meanings for each of his pieces.
