This minimalist wooden sconce with a smooth, ramp-like silhouette is Manhattan-based design studio Blue Green Works’ tribute to its love of skateboarding. These miniature halfpipes in a choice of oak and walnut host a central light bulb, while the sculptural semi-circular center holds the light and allows it to escape onto the wall. Available in three shapes, the simple variation in their construction drastically affects the way the light is diffused. Orientation can be adjusted during installment.
