Rita Konig has worked as an interior designer and journalist for the past 17 years both in the UK and in the US. She’s known for her relaxed style and believes the best kind of rooms are the ones that make you want to sit down and hang out.

Rita’s interiors layer colour and texture, creating a calming patchwork of old and new which result in elegant, lived-in feeling rooms. Her clients are the cornerstone of her design approach and every project is based on a thorough understanding of the individual brief. Working on both commercial and residential projects globally, Rita creates interiors that go beyond current trends and reflect the style and lives of the people that live there. More recently Rita has launched a new online course with Create Academy.

Rita is passionate about sharing her expertise and empowering people to decorate and design their homes themselves. For 6 years Rita wrote a column for House and Garden called Rita Notes, and in the past 5 years Rita has held workshops at her own home in West London.
