Barrie Benson is the principal designer behind Barrie Benson Interior Design, known for creating spaces that are personal, joyful, and welcoming. Since founding her firm in 2000, she’s built a reputation for blending modern and traditional elements in both residential and commercial projects—from iconic homes to gourmet markets and beach retreats.

In 2018, she co-founded Peg Norriss with gallerist Chandra Johnson, producing artist-led interior collections with Schumacher. She also designs furniture for Highland House and hardware for Modern Matter.

Barrie serves on the boards of the Mint Museum and the University of Georgia’s Lamar Dodd School of Art. Her work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, Veranda, House Beautiful, and more.
