Conceptual artist Aaron Wrinkle (b.1978) is based out of New York and his native Missouri. Despite focusing on painting throughout school, Wrinkle has furthered his practice through various means of abstraction, sculpture, and performance art. He is invested in the evolution of art, specifically painting, hoping that his work will be able to add to legacies of art history. Spirited and bright, Variable 14 is rendered in a blend of enamel, acrylic, and Flashe on canvas, and presented in the artist’s frame.
