With the innate versatility of working on a mid-century modern revival in Los Angeles or a traditional farmhouse in Vermont, Michael Hilal brings a level of warmth and sophistication of his California Modern aesthetic to every project. Recently named one of Architectural Digest's "New American Voices" 2023, Michael focuses on combining vintage and antique furnishings with new and custom pieces to help create casual and effortless environments.

Michael Hilal opened his name-sake studio in 2017 and has quickly become a sought after designer for new construction projects, large-scale renovations, and high-end residential interior design. His work has recently been featured in Architectural Digest, Galerie, Sight Unseen, Dwell, Veranda, Milk Decoration, ELLE, and 1stdibs Introspectives among other publications. He received the 2022 Showcase Design Award and 2021 Emerging Designer Award award from California Home and Design magazine. His first furniture line is available through St Vincents in Antwerp.
