About

Rodman Primack is the founder of AD100 design firm RP Miller whose work is imbued by a holistic philosophy of interior design. Obsessed with breaking hierarchies as much as with handmade baskets, Primack has developed a one-of-a-kind practice defined by storytelling, comfort, and connection. He champions supporting local makers and recommends buying more art over building bigger homes. Rodman emphasizes that valuable objects are not necessarily expensive. And he urges clients to dig deep and get comfortable enough with themselves to recognize what’s truly important to them, rather than making a space around what they think they’re supposed to want in a home. Rodman is a firm believer that the process of designing and decorating should be one filled with pleasure and joy.

The interiors that Rodman creates are imbued with inimitable intelligence, warmth, and spontaneity. Layers, textures, and bold colors characterize his spaces. RP Miller describes the firm's relaxed maximalist aesthetic as a punk take on prep, a rebellious approach to elegance that finds harmony in juxtaposition and accumulation. Each project is the opportunity to explore new ideas and collaborations. Each client deserves their own story.
